Principles of Entrepreneurship (PEN) DECA Practice
First-year DECA members demonstrate business knowledge and skills needed in small business or entrepreneurial settings. Participants complete a situational roleplay involving basic entrepreneurship concepts. Practice PEN roleplays in the official DECA format and get scored the way a judge scores you — on the performance indicators that actually decide the event. Principles events like PEN are designed for first-year competitors, so they are usually the first roleplay a new DECA member ever runs.
